A Cup of Tea | #AtoZ Blogging Challenge 2023

This post is part of the #AtoZ April Blogging Challenge. It’s my second time and this year I’m going with micro-poetry—it’s a form that I’m going to be exploring through April and hopefully, beyond. My focus here is to play upon the myriad moods and emotions of life through these varying short forms.

Today’s post stands for the letter ‘T’ and is titled:

A Cup of Tea

So, this is my tea scene, if you know what I mean. 🙂 I thought this was best for the prompt for today. As always, I’d love to know what you think of it. Please share your thoughts/feedback in the comments below.

Thank you once again, for stopping by and showering so much love and support through this #AtoZ Blogging challenge and beyond! My deepest heartfelt gratitude and love to each one of you stopping by to read this post.

  1. Such beautiful, calming words…just like the moments you share with your favourite brew. Keep writing, Esha. I know time is a constraint, as is mental space. But, do find the time to write a few lines as and when you can. You are truly gifted.

  2. Tea comes in so many flavors and moods, perfect for celebration and mourning, morning and evening, cold rain and hot winds. This poem make me want to break out my peppermint tea and a little milk and honey on the rainy day here.

  3. Morning tea time is magical and you are poetic brilliance is shining through these lines capturing a moment entwined in stillness and tranquility.
Your poems are beautiful, Esha. They are like taking the first sip of tea – rejuvenating and nourishing the soul. ❤️
