What Do You See in the Sky? #SkywatchFriday

“There’s a bright spot in every dark cloud.”

-Bruce Beresford

This is an image that I clicked sometime back, after a torrential downpour had just washed away all the dust from the air, leaving green vistas visible on the backyard of our residential complex.

The smell of wet earth was wafting through the damp evening air, as I stepped out into the balcony after wrapping up work on a busy day.

When I looked up at the sky, I saw the sun almost ready to set in a couple of minutes. What I saw is what I have shared here for you to see.

Tell me, dear readers, what do you see? Would love to hear your thoughts. Anything absolutely that comes to mind when you see this image.

It’s been a while that I’ve been away from writing on the blog and I have to say I miss the interactions, the brief and the not-so-brief comments that you all leave for me but most of all, I miss the fun we would all have—back in the day, when the blogging scene was thriving and a lot of us were part of this buzzing community!

No point mourning, I know but, honestly, it does feel somewhat isolating here these days…as if one is on a solitary journey, with no end in sight! Not sure why I feel so sad but that’s how it is.

Anyway, before I sign off, here’s wishing a blessed weekend to you all – hope you take that break to unwind from the grind and relax to the beat of your own heart! I hope you grab the time to do what you love doing.

LIfe is too short to live with regrets!

Until next week, goodbye! Tons of happy vibes to each one of you, dear readers!

  1. I love the view of lush greenery stretching out before you. I hope it stays that way despite all the construction going on in the city.

  2. The clouds look menacing but the sight of sunbeams shining through is reassuring.
You do catch amazing moments Esha.
Like you, I too miss the conversations in my comments section when I don’t blog for a while. In fact it’s the desire of connecting with my virtual friends, few as they may be, that keeps me writing on the blog.
