There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera. That is the moment the photographer is creative.
Today, I’d love to share some of my recent clicks.
Mostly random shots. Taken from my everyday world. They also happen to be some of my favourite things as well! 🙂
The Hibiscus in our balcony garden, with fresh new leaves coming up!
My morning coffee—my best pick-me-up for all times.
New leaves and tiny flowers on the Bougainvillea! I am so thrilled.
A rainy morning that you can best enjoy with a hot cuppa and a book!
Fancy a view through a bubble wrap?
Love the morning vibes from my potted Ivy!
Clicks during my morning walk in our apartment complex.
An enticing sunset caught just in time.
The play of light and form have a very important role in shaping a photograph but equally important would be the discerning eye of the photographer that knows what it wants to capture in the lens. It is in the most ordinary of moments that magic happens and a beautiful shot is born. Lockdown life hasn’t been easy for me but, I’ve made peace with it and used the time to appreciate the countless blessings that have come my way during this time that has made me feel privileged, grateful and deeply indebted to the Universe. Photography has been a blessing that has given me boundless joy and satisfaction over the years ever since I started dabbling in it. To be honest, I’m still learning the ropes of good photography and every time, I learn something new I realise how little I know of it. The learning and experimentations go on, though!
That’s all for now. Until next week, goodbye! Take care. Much love to you all. See you soon. <3
