An enticing sunset caught just in time.
The play of light and form have a very important role in shaping a photograph but equally important would be the discerning eye of the photographer that knows what it wants to capture in the lens. It is in the most ordinary of moments that magic happens and a beautiful shot is born. Lockdown life hasn’t been easy for me but, I’ve made peace with it and used the time to appreciate the countless blessings that have come my way during this time that has made me feel privileged, grateful and deeply indebted to the Universe. Photography has been a blessing that has given me boundless joy and satisfaction over the years ever since I started dabbling in it. To be honest, I’m still learning the ropes of good photography and every time, I learn something new I realise how little I know of it. The learning and experimentations go on, though!

For me a photograph clicked with heart & soul speak volumes…….here I must add that the heavily edited ones may look wow but lack the connect. You have rightly said that the aesthetics should be in place and the click is bound to appeal. I love your photos Esha and you know this by now 🙂 I think about learning photography but somehow never get to it. What drives me is sheer soulful joy when the camera is in my hand……. as simple as that.
The ivy click is beautiful as are the rest. Coffee in the balcony amidst nature’s beauty is an unbeatable combination. I wish they are always be there for you where ever you may be.
By the way I found the view through the bubbles interesting…..

I am fascinated by your sun deck. I can imagine both of us sitting there and pouring our heart out. That heart shape on the coffee impressed me. Coming to photography, I think I am quite a lousy photographer but the quote that we need to look for a ‘composition’ made me re-think the way I randomly click a photo. Next time will keep that in mind. Thanks for sharing the quote and those lovely images. Oh!! I also loved the ivy. It is my favourite indoor plant.

These pics are lovely. I still want to study more on the nuances of photography… I like taking them but its with the usual automatic setting in mobiles and camera. I see the magic people achieve when they set it based on whatever those 1/800, 1/2000 and all are ( 😀 ) and I want to be able to do that too

They are all beautiful photos. I love the sunset. I am forever taking photos from our garden as we have an open view down over Cornwall. It is a pity that the pylon wires spoil it though.

I loved the view of a rainy day from your balcony. Your balcony has a superb view and I can imagine how cold that wet and misty morning must have been. The bubble wrap photo is such a creative idea. I would like to know how you created it. Was it achieved by covering the camera lens with the bubble wrap? All the photos are fab. I completely agree with you on us being privileged as compared to the millions out there struggling and suffering in the lockdown. Thank goodness for our situation which though has its own struggles but still we have the means to deal with them.
I am taking baby steps now to return to blogging after a lull of more than 2 months. May be I have found my peace in the mid of my turmoil.
