Cherry blossoms last only for a week. And when their time is up, they leave lush pink carpets everywhere on the ground below. Even their decay is a sight to behold. That life and death exist so closely is a beautiful reminder of the fickleness of life. Transient. Fragile. Delicate. Ephemeral. A true metaphor for life itself!

A whole bunch of Cherry Blossom Trees together and clicking photographs to my heart’s content , has been on my bucket list for a while. They look so cool, right? Do they smell good too?
It is quite an experience, Jyothi. You must go for it. Japan will surprise you in many more ways than you can imagine! And in the most wonderful ways!! They do have a very subtle essence that you can enjoy during the Sakura season when they are in full bloom
