A Cherry Tree in Kyoto | #ThursdayTreeLove

Cherry blossoms last only for a week. And when their time is up, they leave lush pink carpets everywhere on the ground below. Even their decay is a sight to behold. That life and death exist so closely is a beautiful reminder of the fickleness of life. Transient. Fragile. Delicate. Ephemeral. A true metaphor for life itself!

A beautiful Cherry tree in full bloom in Kyoto, Japan.

If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to her post.

  1. What a pretty sight that is. I am sure when it blooms the cities look more gorgeous and have a charm of their own. Glad you shared this and joined, Esha!
I hope to see you on the 26th. It’s the last edition of the year 🙂

  2. A whole bunch of Cherry Blossom Trees together and clicking photographs to my heart’s content , has been on my bucket list for a while. They look so cool, right? Do they smell good too?

    1. It is quite an experience, Jyothi. You must go for it. Japan will surprise you in many more ways than you can imagine! And in the most wonderful ways!! They do have a very subtle essence that you can enjoy during the Sakura season when they are in full bloom
