Sharing some sky views of my city from this week. I resumed my morning walks after a long break. With all three of us feeling so under the weather over the past few weeks, this wouldn’t have been possible and now that the cold is receding, it feels so much nicer and warmer. The nip in the air in the mornings remain but evenings are a lot brighter and very pleasant. Perfect to sit back and relax with a cup of tea as the evening sky turns into twilight.
The first shot I’m sharing here, is taken from one of our morning walks from last week. I came upon this lovely view as I looked up to see the trees that I always admire whenever I’m here and I’m glad I had my phone with me to capture this shot.
A 30-minute mindful walk with the husband was just what one needed. Brisk walking and sharing our thoughts on life, some of those long-lost hobbies we loved to pursue once upon a time, of the exciting future travel plans and a few funny incidents from folks at work. Getting our daily dose of inspiration from these beautiful trees in the park was a pure bonus and I particularly loved catching the slanting rays of sunlight filtering in through the canopied trees. It was serene and magical at the same time, being at peace with oneself, not competing with anyone anywhere, going where life was taking us.
Sometimes, words are superfluous. All you need is the sense of comfort with someone who knows you well and for who you are. And no, if you ask meβwe didn’t feel the need to declare our love to the world just because everyone else was making a show of it, and it happened to be that time of the year! The one above and the one below are sunset shots typical of Bangalore.
Thats all from me this week. How has the sky been in your part of the world, lately? Would you like to join in for Skywatch and add your sky captures too? And, why not? The more, the merrier.
If you enjoyed the pictures, do share them. Have a relaxed weekend, folks!

Thanks so much for your kind thoughts, Prague! Wishing you the same as well. π
Oh my goodness, those sky shots are stunning! You have definitely inspired me to get outside and do the same. The world at night is so magical π
Superb! Such views are my motivation for a morning walk… Obviously I dont see such wonders daily but the one day that I do, suffices for the many days… Like you said, carrying the phone is important to capture a small extent of the beautiful sky! Thanks for sharing. π
Beautiful shots. I hope that you two continue to walk together π It’s good for heart, mind and blog π
Thanks Parul. Yes, hope so too. π
Some great pictures here. My favorite are first two. Happy to hear that you guys are sticking with walking schedule, which means more opportunities for photography!
Beautiful captures! Weirdly, they looks so ominous and pleasant at the same time.
Thanks, Soumya. That’s an interesting observation you made! π
Lovely photos Esha! Glad to see you’re feeling better! Morning walks are so invigorating. I am waiting to feel well enough to resume mine. Take care!

Beautiful skies… and very tempting to go on a long walk.
Thanks so very much, Lata. If you feel so, then just leave everything and go for it. Once a day is a must for me. π
Gorgeous sky shots, Esha! Also, enjoyed a peek into your personal life! <3 π
Thank you so much, Shilpa. The sky works magic I guess…and yes, its nice to share a few moments of our ‘oh so ordinary’ lives! π
What gorgeous shots! Loved the view of the sky through the canopied tree. Those yellow-orange-red hues never fail to amaze me. β€οΈ
Thanks a lot, Vinitha. Bangalore skies always work some kind of magic on me. Inspite of the many things going downhill in this city, the beautiful hours at dawn and dusk are still to be treasured. π
Beautiful sky shots, especially the last photo!!
Thank you so much, Peter, for your kind words of appreciation. π
Missing my Mumbai skies Esha. Out here the sky is grey :((
Awww, Sunita. I know the feeling. Years back when I used to live in England I would feel exactly as you are, right now. You could look at the positive sideβthankfully, you will be back to sunny days once your holiday is over. π
Yes of course ! Then I will miss my grand daughter out here π
I think you have captured all the moods of the sky here. Where were these shots taken?
Thanks so much, Deb. Yes, many different moods, taken from the skies of Bangalore in South India where I am currently based.
