Sunset in Tokyo
They say photos are a return-ticket to a moment otherwise gone! Every journey leaves us with a treasure trove of experiences and memories. This sight, from one of the busier streets of Tokyo was so strikingly beautiful that I had to stop on my tracks, pause, soak it all in, and only then did I reach out for my phone to grab a quick shot of the sky.
The experience of the moment was in itself very short and transitory and yet, when I look back, I wonder if I knew that I was actually bringing that exact moment along, back with me, into a world that couldn’t be more different.
It was an amazing feeling—to soak in the sights, sounds and smell of a world that I knew I might never step into again in this lifetime. That fleetingly beautiful moment of being present, right there, in the heart of Tokyo city, was indeed a dream come true, in a way that I could never have imagined, except in my fantasies.
Now, I know this sight will forever remain frozen in time, through this one image. Such is the power of a photograph!
What an absolutely fantastic thing it is, that we have devices that allow us to freeze memories of a lifetime with the click of a button.
To treasure and to cherish forever.

How beautiful this is! The lamps add to the hue of the sky. Amazing.
