Since last week, life has been nothing short of crazy. I’ve been dealing with a number of issues with no easy solutions in sight. It has been a challenge to keep a clear head and continue to meet the demands of the day with machine-like precision. Why? Because, if you don’t, everything collapses, like a pack of cards.
I’ve not been able to journal every day, but I’ve been working to stay afloat and continue practising positivity every day. It won’t be wrong to say that I owe my sanity to these obscure moments. Most days, I tell myself that if nothing goes right, go left. Some days I can laugh about the situation. But, not always. Not every time.
That’s when I step out for a walk or browse through my sky photographs, whilst thanking the Heavens above for granting me a few quiet minutes to savour, just for myself. Yes, that kind of self-love is not just necessary but also very therapeutic!
Today, sharing some recent sky captures that have brought me peace and calm. Let me know what you think of them.
Linking this to #Skywatch Friday, where people post beautiful sky shots from different parts of the world.) You may catch my earlier #SkywatchFriday posts here.
Long back I took a nice picture of evening sky filled with puffs of clouds. It was so nice that I decided to take such random pics again. But, in the daily humdrum, I forgot these daily sights. I guess, your post will be trigger to click more of such pics from Domlur side.
They are therapeutic and a saviour for the sore eyes for every Bangalorean tired of seeing construction work everywhere! It must have been a long time since your departure from this city, right Raj? Bet you’ll find it very different now!!
Sometimes, I can’t believe that we live in the same city 😛 These shots of the sky are indeed therapeutic. I do something similar too when things get too stressfull.
Aren’t our Bangalore skies pretty, Reema? I’m glad you find them therapeutic too.
And, yes, anything to break that vicious cycle of stress works wonders!
Beautiful sky shots! I hope you have a peaceful weekend.
Thank you so much, Linda. Wishing you a great week ahead. 🙂
Your skies are just lovely to see. There really is a wonderful solace in looking around and finding beauty! I do pray you get through your situations and things get better.
Feel free to share at My Corner of the World
I miss these skies- didnt realize I was in love with them when I was staying in Bangalore – you are really fortunate to get such clear skies with the sun spreading its hues all over to create these beautiful sky scapes 🙂
Beautiful sky shots. I really like that first one. Have a nice weekend!
I love the fact that these colours and matching hues are of roughly the same area… just different moments in time.
This is so inspiring. Love the colors
Thank you so much, Arvind. Glad you like the colours.
All of these are amazing. Like the second one best.
So glad you say that, Damyanti. Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. 🙂
Esha, you are the SKYGIRL in the complete sense of the word! Gazing at sky pictures is therapy for you <3
I love every sky picture you click and share. It is indeed calming!
Thank you my dear Shilpa! I am in love with the sky wherever I go. I find solace, peace, quiet and plenty of fun watching, clicking, admiring and sharing sky pictures. I guess I was always a ‘Skygirl’ but it took me a long time to realise that myself! And that’s why I’m ever grateful to the blogging world and to the #SkywatchFriday blog hop that it helped me come face-to-face with this love of mine!
Life is more often topsy turvy than calm and peaceful. I’m happy for you that you find peace in your pictures and I’m glad you know when to step back from the chaos and take a minute to breathe and collect yourself. Watching the morning or evening sky is definitely calming.
You said it, Tulika! That’s what life is —utter chaos most of the times and that’s when Nature helps us find some peace and quiet to soothe our frayed nerves. Life’s little mercies, I say!
So glad to see you stop by. 🙂
These pictures are therapeutic. There’s something so calming about the setting sun. I wish I had this view of the sky. I understand how it feels to have these quiet moments just to yourself. I am glad you are able to find these moments of peace.
