Last Year’s Memories | #ThursdayTreeLove

Sometimes, you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.

Last year, around this time, we were visiting Japan, catching the profusion of pink everywhere. It was the Sakura season, with beautiful cherry blossoms blooming everywhere we went!

This year, everything has changed in our lives, in a way that is unprecedented, way beyond what any of us could have imagined even a few months back! With most countries in quarantine, travel is now out of question, even as the holiday season approaches for most of us, so our spring breaks and our annual vacations have to wait. Right now, as we all know, EVERYTHING is on hold and humanity is waiting, to recover, to find a way to regain its’ pace and slowly ease back into normalcy. There are questions galore but no answers. Nobody knows WHEN that will happen, but we can savour cherished memories, as we keep our hopes pinned, for better times to come.

I hope we continue to follow the rules of staying indoors, staying safe, staying positive, keeping fit and staying connected virtually.

And, of course, once in a while, there’s nothing like revisiting beautiful memories. Sharing with you all, one such, today!

  1. Lovely pictures and I couldn’t agree more on what you said. I also love going through my archives and pulling out some memories from there.
Thank you, Esha! Loved the blooms. Take care and would love to see you back tomorrow 🙂
