Just a Little Sunshine |#WordlessWednesday

Happiness is where the sun shines. Happiness is when the sun shines.

“As the years pass, I am coming more and more to understand that it is the common, everyday blessings of our common everyday lives for which we should be particularly grateful. They are the things that fill our lives with comfort and our hearts with gladness — just the pure air to breathe and the strength to breath it; just warmth and shelter and home folks; just plain food that gives us strength; the bright sunshine on a cold day; and a cool breeze when the day is warm.”
Laura Ingalls Wilder

    1. Thank you so much, Keith! Something positive to keep going in these tough times, you see!!

  1. We actually need very little to be happy. Sometimes I feel, if we stop looking so much inside ourselves, and bring our focus away from our problems and what we don’t have, and turn it into what we have, our blessings are insurmountable.

And like you Esha, I always look to nature to draw in my inspiration, and to people as well.

  2. OMG GIRLFRIEND I thought your plant was a peacock until I remember the bird has more then one color and doesn’t really come in all green. hahahaha It is so beautiful though. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if that was a peacock that looked like that? WOW – Have a wonderful day… stay safe and stay healthy! hugs

  3. Brilliant picture Esha. Appears to me that its like a green peacock from some alien land! Sunshine and bright natural colours make the life vibrant without fail.

  4. I think lots of people would love to be out on the prairie right now. I hope my post isn’t too wordy. They aren’t even my words, but pretty uplifting. I love how the shadows play with the sunshine on the fern. Wise and welcome words.

  5. That quote makes so much sense. There was a time I wanted the big stuff and now I have reached the place where just the thought that we are at home safe and healthy is enough to evoke loads of gratitude in me.
The way the sunlight is falling on the leaf in your photo, for some reason, is creating an image of a peacock with it wings spread out. Or may it is just my mind which felt good on waking up this morning watching the rain outside after many days of sunny weather.

  6. Beautiful image, like the shape of a peacock tail!
The sun, the light is life! Thank you for your lovely quote.
All the best, dear Esha and thank you for the linking!
