A Throwback to a beautiful morning in Osaka, in the April of 2019, when the world was a different place and exactly a year before the pandemic was to hit us all. The trip was a dream come true for me, in more ways than one, as Japan had been on my bucket list for the longest time and now, looking back, it seems that fate had ordained that trip for me because, come 2020, everything changed and travel became the first casualty the world over. As i type this post, I find it hard to even imagine now how travel used to be in the pre-pandemic era.
For today’s #SkywatchFriday, I’m sharing two photos from our Osaka trip today, that gives a glimpse of that beautiful morning, as we were about to enter the magnificent seven-storied Osaka Castle, considered to be one of Japan’s most famous landmarks, as well as emblem of power and fortune.
That’s all for today. Will be back next week with more sky pictures. Until then, have a lovely weekend and take care!
The skies are lovely but I’m so distracted by the cherry blossoms.
Lovely pics. Japan is one place I would love to go to as well. Ireland and Greece being the others .
Beautiful photos of Osaka. Clear blue sky and cherry blossoms.
Such a pleasant feeling! Your Japan photos are really lovely, Esha. Keep sharing them. 🙂
Beautiful photos. It’s just how I picture Japan!
Beautiful images. Yes the world has turned topsy turvy hasn’t it.
Delightful shots from Japan. So beautiful!
…your images of Osaka are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, enjoy a beautiful day.
Beautiful photographs! Japan’s been on my travel bucket list since a very long time. I really hope travel opens up again soon — there are a few places that I would dearly love to visit!
