The A-Z Blogging Challenge (2017): Theme Reveal

It’s time for the #A-Z Blogging Challenge and for all those who are participating, preparations are already under way. This is going to be my second year of participation and even though I was not going to participate even until yesterday, I’ve had some inspiration and am now on it (much to my own surprise!!)

It’s a hectic month usually but I do know I’ll enjoy finding and connecting with new bloggers and of course, reconnecting with scores of bloggers from last year. Yes, I know there are zillions of things that might get in the way, but I’d still like to be a part of it and challenge myself.

My theme this year is going to be Life Lessons (what better than that- since I’m still reeling under the wheels of life, getting knocked down and picking up the pieces ever so often) I suppose it’s all part of my eagerness to experience life in all its varying shades, and every time, garnering nuggets of wisdom that continue to guide me, that I feel I ought to share some of that learning with the rest of you!

Of course, the more life I’ve experienced, the more lessons I’ve accumulated over time. And, needless to say, some extremely valuable lessons have also come from other quarters. Some I learned from reading great thinkers like Eckhart Tolle and Byron Katie. Others were passed on from friends, family and sometimes, even strangers (believe it or not!)

So, there goes my theme. Let me confess the real reason why I’m in this challenge -From a writer’s perspective, this challenge is a great way to promote your blog and I’m seeing it as a great tool and a great learning experience. But even more than that, I’m looking at the chance to interact with the many expert and awesome bloggers out there and visiting their blogs, something which I might never get to do, otherwise.

I have no doubt that this is going to be very challenging for me, so do wish me luck, dear friends. It isn’t me if I drop out half-way, so praying things don’t get too difficult. I’m hoping that no matter what comes, I should be able to stick to the challenges until the very end. See you over the coming weeks.

Are you a part of the# AtoZChallenge this year? What’s your theme? Can’t wait to see you in April! 🙂

  1. This sounds like an excellent theme. I think it’s really good when you can look back on the tough times and think ‘what can I learn from this?’ I hope to stop back during April to see what you’ve learned. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Geets. Wisdom…not sure, but stuff that I’ve learnt from life. Hopefully, stuff people can relate to I think. Would love to see your presence more often in April and beyond. Stay tuned 🙂

    1. Thanks Sanch. I’m going to keep it short and simple this time unlike last year and hopefully try and get it all sorted before-hand as I’m expecting guests at home mid-April. Fingers crossed. Good luck with yours too, Sanch.

    1. Yes, buckled under pressure from my heart which decided against all logic and write up a theme reveal post 😀 Wishing you the best too, Shalini. You’ve got a fab theme.

  5. Ha ha! I too had some last minute adrenaline rush and I am going ahead. I know this will be hard but let’s see. Btw – I am sure you and I are close on the theme side 😉 Sounds cool!

    1. Oh really, Parul? :D. To be honest, I got the last minute change of plans after my heart said, ‘Go’! Very clear about one thing this time – will have to keep it short and simple.

  6. Life Lessons, we all either need them or shall resonate with them or shall add them to memory to pull out and use later.
Love the theme, Esha. Looking forward to reading your posts.
    All the best for April:)

    1. Absolutely true, Mayuri. I think I use this quote to give me strength a good many times. Glad you like the theme. Best wishes to you too for April

  7. All the best, Esha. Yes, it gets hectic with posting everyday and visiting others in April. I’m not participating this year for obvious reasons. Hey, in 2015 my theme was ‘life taught lessons’. I wrote little verses that April. 😀

    1. Thanks Vinitha. I need your wishes. Right now I’m still planning what to write. This ‘Mother of all Blogging Challenges’ is pretty tough for me in April, because we go travelling or my in-laws come visiting and when we go for a break, we try to take a gadget-free break as a family. Just need to plan my posts around that time.

  8. Sounds like a wonderful theme. Definitely will be looking forward to coming back as the challenge progresses.
