Skyscapes: View From My Window

If you can’t be in awe of Mother Nature, there’s something wrong with you.

—Alex Trebek

This week, I’m sharing sky views from our window, shot over the past couple of months. Each image attempts to capture a different mood of the sky and evoke varied emotions.

See the images and you can see why I find skywatching a balm to the soul and the eyes, especially after a busy day of work.

One of the best things about spending time in Nature, is how it helps us draw in a sense of calm within and fill us with gratitude. There is so much beauty in these everyday motions that we often miss in the hectic pace of our lives.

Years back, when I began to spend time skywatching I would never have imagined that it would get me hooked into sky photography. It’s a hobby now, and a mindful escape from the demands of life—an endless source of inspiration and motivation that sees me through the highs and lows of living.

Hope you will enjoy these as much as I do. Have a blessed weekend, dear friends. Stay safe and stay fit, you all!

See you around next week.

  1. Incredible views, Esha. The same sky comes up with a different view and a different hue and endlessly entertains us throughout the year, doesn’t it? We have a lot to learn from nature.
    Love these clicks, Esha.

    1. Thank you for stopping by, Vinitha! It really is magical seeing how every day the sky shows up in different ways, through the different seasons and the constant changes in the cycle of Mother Nature! I marvel at how puny we mankind are, in comparison!! Nature is totally awe-inspiring, isn’t it?

    1. Thank you for stopping by and for sharing your thoughts, Corinne! I too am grateful for the views we get to enjoy every now and then.

And btw, apologies for the delay in responding here – Life took over and there were a few exigencies with the elderly at home hence, blogging took a back seat. Praying things get better soon.

  2. When living in the Los Angeles area I had some friends who were always updating me on what they saw changing in the sky when driving by. Thank you for your visit and have an amazing sky weekend like you are showing here!

P.S. As it happens, life took over and blogging took a back seat. Hence, the delay in responding here.
