After having four dreadful days of migraine, today I feel extremely grateful for having a normal, uneventful day! The world looks and feels different today.
I’m not going into the details of it all—suffice to say that the true worth of a normal day can only be felt after we’ve experienced intolerable pain.
The sky seems to have finally cleared up this morning and the sunshine is as crisp as ever. I’m typing this while on my way to meet my Neurologist to discuss if he can change my current medications, so the pain relief comes in a matter of hours, instead of days!
For today’s #SkywatchFriday edition, I’m sharing a precious pic of a double rainbow from my recent sky collection. I wanted to share how I’ve been working on my inner narrative and reminding myself how blessed I am to have my family around to support me through these extremely challenging days.
Life goes on as usual, with the ups and downs. And through all of this, I’m looking forward to a quiet and relaxed weekend, before another busy week begins.
Top on my list this week is self-care and gratitude as I keep counting my blessings—yes, counting the rainbows, and not the thunderstorms…chin up, I say to myself, bravely hopeful that the coming days will be better (read “less migraine attacks”).
It’s time to sign off now, so here’s sending you all loads of love and best wishes and wishing you mindful moments to recharge and recalibrate yourself, before the busy festive days ahead.
Stay tuned for more sky pics next week. Until then, happy sky watching!!

Thank you so much, Arvind. Glad to see you stop by the blog after a long long time. How have you been?

All good. It’s the usual stuff here as well. 🙂

I am speechless!
Wow, a complete rainbow. Thank your for sharing it with me. I hope you have a productive visit with your doctor in order to get quicker relief.
That’s a spectacular rainbow. Glad you are feeling better, and I like your idea of counting the rainbows, and not the thunderstorms!
