A Perfect Pair | ThursdayTreeLove 2023 – 3

In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.

–Alice Walker

What a stunning pair of trees—wouldn’t you agree?

Perfect? Or imperfect? Does it really matter?

This scene was randomly shot in Tokyo on a morning walk, the day after we arrived. Our exploration of the neighbourhood started with a hunt for a breakfast place – and then this led us to many interesting finds surrounding the area. After a long walk we found a nice place, had breakfast and came out for a stroll in a spot where there were a nice seating area surrounded by plenty of trees. We rested our feet and as I looked up, I totally fell in love with this gorgeous pair of trees and therefore, a quick shot on my phone camera was inevitable!

So thankful, I did!

Memories are what shows up when I recall our last family trip to Japan four years ago. And thanks to my love for trees of every shape and size conceivable, I have many such beautiful tree memories to share with you all.

See you next fortnight, with another edition of #thursdaytreelove.

  1. What a lovely one, Esha. The tree that I am planning to spot today looks similar so at first I thought you have a tree from Bangalore. Thanks for sharing this one and I love that quote. Made me smile. 🙂 Going live in some time – please feel free to join.

  2. Isn’t it wonderful to find these gems when travelling? Nature is impartial. Imperfections just as beautiful as perfection and symmetry.
