Today I’m sharing a leaf from my travel diary.
It’s said that travel humbles us. Travel teaches us so much about the world, about ourselves and shifts our perspectives about people and places, especially those who we have not have encountered before.
For an intrepid traveller like myself, every trip is a lesson as much as a journey, about discovering new things and learning to look at the world with a new pair of eyes.
Isn’t it amazing how every trip we take, tells us how tiny and insignificant we are, compared to this vast universe, we are a part of?
It certainly does, for me and I know it does, for many others too.
From 33000 feet above the ground, the Earth looks so different. I don’t know about you, but I feel amazed, wondering how this huge bird is carrying us into distant lands, while we are seated comfortably inside the aircraft – our lives held together safely by a string—of faith, trust and total surrender to the pilot, to the Universe and beyond!
Awe-inspiring and humbling, as always!
