Of New Beginnings | #WordlessWednesday

Happy New Year, dear readers!

So, how have you all been? Trust you’re all energised from the much-needed winter break and are now wonderfully recharged and ready to get back to the grind. As you all know, we at #wordlesswednesday went on a break too.  And true to our promise, Natasha and I are now back with a new badge/logo, and ready to welcome you to our very first edition of #wordlesswednesday for 2020! So, without further ado, here we go.

Ushering in the new dawn of 2020

More smiling, less worrying. More compassion, less judgment. More blessed, less stressed. More love, less hate.

Roy T. BennettThe Light in the Heart

These are my heartfelt wishes for you, dear readers!

Here’s to a bright New Year and a fond farewell to the old. Here’s to the things that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold.

May all our troubles be as short-lived as our new Year resolutions! May we learn to let go of the heavy burden of our past and turn our wounds into wisdom, and all our difficulties into opportunities.

May we never give in easily to the slings and arrows of fate.

May we embody compassion, kindness and gratitude in all our actions and learn to follow our dreams, no matter how impossible they seem!

And, may we always learn to reflect inwards every now and then, to align our thoughts and actions with our purpose in life because that is what really matters in the end!!

Here’s to life, love and laughter! Here’s to a more fulfilling year ahead for us all!!

  3. Your words reminded me of a lovely hymn we used to sing in school – New every morning is the dawn ….’ I love your new logo. Did you dare put your lens on the ground ?

    1. Oh thanks, Sunita! Glad my post made you remember that. At a time when the air outside is strife with protest and anger, I tried to stay away from negative thoughts. I thought our prayers and our intentions for the year might make more sense and bring in some calm to our angst.
You’re right. The lens is definitely kept on the grass, but that’s because it isn’t mine! 😉 Just an image from pexels, actually.
