“On the road.”
This picture was shot somewhere near Bentota, Sri Lanka, while we were driving down from Colombo to Galle.
#WordlessWednesday Post 51
*******
This week onwards, I am no longer hosting #WordlessWednesday, although I will be posting regularly. If you wish to join in, all you got to do is post a picture that speaks for itself. Once you do, please post your link here where you get to see the other #WW posts from the other parts of the world.
Have a great Wednesday and Happy New Year to all! 🙂
I’m a sucker for road trips. And this one reminds me of some of ours. The Buddha sits there, all expansive, and the road wide open, leading to new horizons and new journeys. Thank you for sharing Esha. xoxo
Thanks, Natz. That’s good to know. I love the calmness emanating from the Buddha in the image, as if guiding us into the unknown road ahead. Glad to see you stopping by here, Natz! 🙂
That’s a happy natural shot. One that’s so perfect on all road trips. Good one, Esha!
Thank you, Parul. Yes, a must on any road trip! Would love to know more about yours someday. 🙂
Ah, green. So different from the frozen world I am living in right now, in the Northern United States.
Thank you, Alana. Yes, I can imagine how pleasant this must seem in comparison to what you are experiencing in your part of the world. In response, I’d like to share one of the most memorable lines by a favourite poet: “If winter comes, can spring be far behind?”
Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Oh dear! If you are not hosting this blog hop, I won’t join in ….. it does become a bit tough to juggle things and frankly I only joined in because I love your stuff. I’ve visited the actual WW links and most of them are not at all related to the topic so it will be a real waste of my time………
Oh, no! Thats a shame, Sunita. You know, I am going self-hosted in a few months time and will try and get my own linky code for #WordlessWednesday. Currently, I was sharing the code given by a fellow blogger by the name Anni Schenk and I wasn’t too happy with a few things so decided not to continue any more unless I have my very own linky code. So, please bear with me until then.
Yes. I will definitely join up with you when you are self hosted because Anni Schenk’s links weren’t really relevant to the theme. And there is no point in linking up to pointless blogs is there? Look forward to your new self hosted blog. Good luck and God Speed
I totally understand Sunita. I’m with you. Will surely keep you posted on the new blog that’s coming up. I don’t link up with Anni’s for the very same reason. Hopefully, we can have our very own linky party for WW soon.
great looking forward to it!
😍
It’s the kind of pictures we all love clicking when on a road trip! 🙂
Absolutely, Shilpa! I know you too love clicking like I do! Road trips are way better than any other I can think of. Even the mention of it makes me want to go on one. 😀
Road trips in lush green surroundings and a road as smooth as this one makes it for a good drive.
True, Anamika. Road trips on a smooth road are a different joy altogether! I miss the UK so much, every time we think of road trips. The lush green English countryside is a feast to the eyes. Even the drive in Sri Lanka was such a bliss…. so much beauty and so clean everywhere! 🙂
Road trips are the best. .I also love to click the road…nice capture
Thanks Tina!
