Across The Vault of Heaven | #SkywatchFriday

When you get into your car, shut the door and be there for just half a minute. Breathe, feel the energy inside your body, look around at the sky, the trees. The mind might tell you, ‘I don’t have time.’ But that’s the mind talking to you. Even the busiest person has time for 30 seconds of space.”

Eckhart Tolle

A glorious sunset caught behind a highrise.

A mist-covered morning just before sunrise.

Capturing the magic unfold in the eastern sky.

My skywatching moments are a very spiritually uplifting experience that I look forward to rather eagerly, in the early hours of the day. As darkness gives way to light and the first signs of light begin to crack open, a beautiful glow slowly fills up the eastern edge of the horizon and you know the wee hours of the morning are ready to usher you towards another promising day ahead.

Have you ever tasted the early morning sky? You’ll be surprised, how little it takes to look out and admire the beauty that surrounds us every day. Barely a few minutes to spare from your busy day, but so much of bliss and calm to follow, that very few things could ever match up to. If you haven’t, it may be worth a try someday! Because once you do, you’ll forever be in love with the sky!

  1. The first thing I do after waking up is look at the sky through my window and wish the Universe, “Good morning, Gorgeous!” 😛 I have gotten into this habit as I believe that if that’s the kind of positive vibe I send out into the Universe then it is what I will receive in return. And, God knows how much of positivity I need in my life!
I sit in my kitchen balcony with my mug of warm water, to sip and to stare at the sky, see the sun rising and colours of the sky that change with the sun’s arrival.
It just takes a few minutes to make ourselves feel good by looking at the sky, isn’t it, and yet we keep looking for bigger things to make us happy.
Love your sky pictures, Esha! <3

  2. Beautiful sky shots and some great observations. I am just now emerging from a very stressful time dealing with a serious illness of my brother and I learned that I had to just stop and take little mini-breaks as you suggested. Also what helped me was concentrating on my breathing as I learned in my yoga classes. It was hard to feel anxious when I was working on my breathing and it helped disengage my brain from the worries I felt, and left me more capable of dealing with things.

    1. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been through a challenging time! Sending plenty of healing vibes to your brother so that he is healed very soon! I do agree with you on how much breathing helps at such times. It has, in my case too, as I’ve also had a very difficult time over the most part of 2019. I sincerely hope that things get in control sooner than you think and that you are feeling better at the soonest. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.
