A Postcard From Tbilisi | #ThursdayTreeLove

Happy 2025 to you all!

Today, I’m sharing the image of a tree that we used to watch every morning at breakfast, while we stayed in this gorgeous property in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia. The April morning sun was pleasant enough for us to be sitting outside to savour a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore the city and the early hours meant this was before the temperatures started soaring and hit around 35-36 degrees Celsius on an average day.

There was something nice about being in this place every morning, the staff greeting us with smiles and the leisurely pace of a much-needed holiday would envelope us like the hug of a kind and loving friend. This image brings back a whole bunch of memories for me.

I’m glad that I’m beginning the year with a photo post for the #thursdaytreelove series by joining my good friend, Parul who hosts the Thursday Tree Love on her blog. If you are keen to see the beautiful tree images from bloggers who join in from all parts of the world, do stop by her blog and if you happen to share our love for trees, then, I’d love to invite you to join in, too! Do share your tree images on Facebook or Instagram or any medium that you prefer, even if you do not own a blog.

The idea is to share the tree love with the rest of us who do. At a time when Mother Nature has turned out to be a casualty of our selfishness and greed, all we can do is bring and share the love that we feel within us, and we can do so in our own unique ways. I choose to do this by sharing nature posts, through my sky photography, blogs and social media write ups, which I do, every now and then.

This year, I intend to share tree posts every month, as I have been faltering on my blogging over the past year due to a number of personal setbacks. As things look up, I’m hoping to be more consistent on the writing front (God willing, fingers crossed!)

Also, thank you so much for joining. I can’t wait to see you every month 🙂

  2. I love how they have arranged the place around the tree. So relaxing and indeed a great way to start the morning.
