She had switched off the alarm, sitting at the edge of the bed, when a thought struck her. What if she could trade her life with someone else- a fresh clean slate to write a new story, perhaps?
But what about those battles, the scars, the endless angst, she carried within her body and soul for years, the fight to be herself?
Brushing aside the thought, once again she chose to be herself- no less significant, no less important and certainly not lost.
