That’s a beautiful and neat shot. I am curious that these sail-boats are on sale. I wonder who would buy? Fishermen?
WHAT? Miniatures??? It really didn’t feel that way at first glance. Only after I saw the description below that I gave a second look and felt like they were miniatures.
Yes, miniatures! Doesn’t give any hint unless you are looking for it.
Oh dear! I would never have known their actual size! These are wonderful 🙂
Thanks Shalini. Yes, they are very pretty handcrafted miniature models.
I would never have guessed their size if you hadn’t mentioned it, Esha. Love the colors!
Thank you, Corinne. They look amazingly real and life-sized, don’t they?
Wha a colourful fest Esha; I wanna sail away on one of these!! 🙂
Thanks, Shalz. I am not surprised you want to sail away. I too had similar thoughts looking at the sea ahead of me while standing atop this picturesque location in Galle.
These boats indeed looked lifesized. And funnily enough my capture too this Wednesday is about boats in a fishing village in Colaba………..
Yes, they do, indeed, Sunita. Will hop over to check out your pic too, rightaway. 🙂
Just Like Anamika even I feel that they do not look like miniatures..great click, nice clarity in the picture.
Thanks a lot, Tina. Yes, this was a sight I couldn’t miss capturing in my lens. The boats were so tiny and unreal and yet, almost like the real ones anchored a few feet away on the waters. Unbelievable sight!
such delightful colors. Lovely capture 😀
Thanks, Raj.:)
Are these really miniature? Didn’t look like one. It is a pretty sight.
Thanks, Anamika. They are really tiny…no bigger than 8-10 inches long! 🙂
