Lessons From A Tree | #ThursdayTreeLove

Staying grounded, and yet growing…

learning to let go and giving unconditionally…

Only a tree could have taught us that. Sounds simple but to practice, demands a bit of an effort and plenty of patience.

Ever wondered what trees think of us, humans?

Marine Drive. A random capture of a tree.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on Parul’s blog that is hosted on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will go live on January 23, 2020. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to her post.

  1. What a lovely one. Love that tree and that duo right next to it. I recently clicked a similar shot sans the tree. Will share on a WW soon 🙂
Thanks for joining, Esha! I hope to see you on the 23rd.

    1. Thank you so much for your appreciation, Parul. So glad you liked it. Would love to see your pic sometime. Do post it.
Always a pleasure to join in, my dear. I’ll definitely be there on the 23rd. 🙂

  2. There is so much to learn from trees. And this message of letting go and giving unconditionally is something that I need to do at the moment. Thanks for the nudge. A great capture.

    1. Absolutely, Shilpa! Lessons to learn are plenty but the question is how open are we to imbibe that and follow from them. Most people, myself included, fall in the same category.

    1. Thank you, Inderpreet. I know what you mean, especially since we can hardly ever give back to trees in comparison to what they give us.

  3. It is a difficult question but I’m sure the answers are not encouraging. So much to learn from trees! Did you check out a blog I posted pertaining to differences between humans and trees?

    1. Thank you, Arvind for stopping by to read my post. Not yet been able to visit your blog but will do so in the next few days. Time is getting to be a constraint so plenty of juggling happening to take that precious time out to blog! 🙂

      1. I can understand, Esha. It is not a new post. Let me post the link here for you, will make it easier. Will post it in another comment. If it doesn’t make it on your blog, probably, it will end in your spam folder. 🙂

  4. Hey, your blog looks different! The change definitely looks good, Esha 🙂
Yeah, if only we could be like the trees–unconditionally giving, yet never demanding anything in return. We are complete opposites. 🙁

  5. So true. Trees have perfected the art of letting go and grounding. I often wonder at thr stories they would have seen unfolding around them – the good, bad, and ugly. I’m sure they’ve seen them all.

  6. So true .. Trees teach us to love outside of ourselves , give unconditionally and that expectations are a myth !! Lovely photograph .
