Dilemma | #AtoZBloggingChallenge 2023

This post is part of the #AtoZ April Blogging Challenge. It’s my second time and this year I’m going with micro-poetry—it’s a form that I’m going to be exploring through April and hopefully, beyond. My focus here is to play upon the myriad moods and emotions of life through these varying short forms.

Today’s post stands for the letter ‘D’ and is titled:

Dilemma

So, what you think of my short poem for today? I had fun writing it, and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much. I’ll be looking forward to your comments so do please share them in the comments section below, along with links to your posts, so I may visit you right back.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today.

See you tomorrow.

  1. I love the way you have left it up to my imagination as to what happens next. Reminds me of how fragile human hope is and what it means to different people in the same situation.

  2. I liked today’s poem because of the open ended ending. Each of us has to choose our own ending. I wasn’t going to reveal my ending at first, but then I thought: maybe I should make it about taking a trip – yes or no? And, if so, where?

    1. Yes, it does work better keeping it open-ended right?
I’m so glad that you took a guess on this one. It could definitely be a trip, as you say.
I’m actually looking forward to the readers to interpret it their way. Let’s see how it goes. 😊

    1. Whatever you think happened next, Shilpa. Think only about the things working out for both of them.
