Blogversary Special | #wordlesswednesday

Stop looking outside for scraps of pleasure or fulfilment, for validation, security, or love – you have a treasure within, that is infinitely greater than anything the world can offer.

—Eckhart Tolle

They say, some things in life are way more precious than we ever think.

I’ve found that in this world, there are countless material things in nature that bewilder us with wonderment—alluring blue skies, breathtakingly beautiful snow-clad mountains, and gorgeous sun-kissed white sand beaches. Then, again, there are some of the most amazing things that are intangible, that shape our lives and our beings in ways so profound that they make our lives and our existence way more meaningful than one could ever wish for.

From where I stand, the magic of childhood is long gone, and so are those amazing years of going on a treasure hunt. The treasure I seek now comes to me from the most unexplored places.

From the material and the finite to the infinitesimal and the infinite, it has taken me long years of struggle, hardship, heartache and pain to realise that the real treasure lies not in those exotic mountains in faraway lands, that I often long to travel to, or the most mesmerizing sunset skies, that I capture every now and then, but in the innermost core of my being— the place that we often forget to look into or even acknowledge, in our quest to seek the outside world.

My blog is a repository of that inner world of mine—a home for my thoughts that otherwise would have remained buried under the pressures of everyday life!

I’m deeply grateful that blogging has opened up a whole new world for me, full of infinite possibilities, new learning and joy—one that I’d love to celebrate today, here in the blogosphere, with you all, my dear readers!

Five years and counting…so much more to learn and explore and so much more to share with you all. Deeply grateful to the blogging community, my readers and fellow-bloggers, for stopping by to read my posts, leaving valuable feedback and comments and sharing them on social media. My blogger friends and mentors—I can’t thank you enough—for your nuggets of wisdom, your love and your continuous support over the years!

You all are the real wind beneath my wings!!!

If you’re stopping by my blog today, I’d like to request you to leave a few lines in the comment section to let me know what is it that you like about my blog as well as what could make it better. I’m open to every constructive feedback for future improvements so I’m really counting on you all to leave me some wise words, that I can work upon. Thank you very much for sparing your precious time! It really does mean a lot to me. <3

  1. Happy anniversary, Esha. I’ve been remiss in not congratulating you earlier. Your words always come from the heart and I’m they move a lot of people (me included) with their honesty! Thank you for creating this beautiful space and for continuing to be you. ♥

  2. First of all, wish you a very happy blogversary, Esha! I am so glad you blog, for otherwise I wouldn’t have had the pleasure of meeting such a gem of a person!
So, what is it that I love about your blog?
Well, it’s your words, the thoughts that you express and share so beautifully; ‘poetic’ is the word that comes to my mind every time I read your post. I also wonder when I will be able to write like you!
I consider myself lucky to have a blog because it’s here that I have met some really talented, creative writers (I admire your and Tulika’s reflective writing the most!)
There’s really nothing that you need to work upon, except maybe your health, so that you are able to blog more, write more and entertain your readers more! Of course, life does come in the way, but do find time to write more, dear. You are a gifted writer, if you don’t know that.
Keep writing, my dear. Wish you the best!
    Love and hugs!

  3. Congratulations on 5 years of blogging! You must be feeling wonderful at completing this milestone. I love your blog for all the beautiful pictures and the soulful words. There’s always something little lesson for me in all of your posts. Keep blogging 🙂

  4. Congratulations on five years. What can I say, Esha? You introduced me to two blog hops, including one I love dearly and reintroduced me to the wonders of the sky. Maybe declining energy in old age is an encouragement to look within? I really have nothing constructive to say – your photos and quotes always inspire me.

  5. Congrats on the blog turning five, Esha. This indeed is a place that talks to the soul <3

Wishing you a lot more happy years on the blogosphere.

    1. Thanks much, my dear! Your kind words mean so much to me. So glad to see you here, today and join us this week, Soumya! ❤️

  6. Congratulations on your blogversary! I enjoy your wordplay. You use the simplest of words and weave them into something beautiful and positive. Keep going.

    1. Thank you so much, Jyothi for stopping by to read my posts and for sharing those kind words of appreciation! So glad to have met you through your lovely blog! ❤️

  7. Happy blogversary! Your blogposts are always filled with wisdom. So thoughtfully written that it makes me stop and ponder on the words. I have always believed that happiness lies in little things. And it is these little things that make up our whole life.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words, Rajlakshmi! So grateful to have friends like you who stop by to appreciate and reciprocate the blog love! You and your beautiful blogs have always been an inspiration for me, you know. ❤️

  8. Congratulations! I lost count after 10! hahahaha Ahhhh to have mountains close by to go there if I wanted to or just look at them. Living in the city doesn’t give anything like that. Although I do live by Fox River so if we need nature that’s where we go walk or we use to ride bikes there, but now I can no longer do it because after a back operation in left me with my right leg is now numb and well, it just stops me from riding my bike, but we still take walks. Have a wonderful day and thanks for sharing. hugs

  9. What I like about your blog is your succinct and lyrical style . Somehow there is something very soothing about your blog be it the insights you share or the photocompositions you share .
You write on a wide range of subjects from personal experiences to travelogues, regularly keeping alive your readers’ interests. Most importantly you engage with your readers with comments and reciprocity . Happy Blogversary to you!

    1. Thank you so so much for your most generous feedback! I feel honoured to have known an amazing blogger like you through this blog and I’d like to tell you today how much your love and support has meant to me through the past 5 years that I’ve known you in the blogosphere. I’ve drawn inspiration from you countless number of times and even as a fledgling blogger once, your encouraging words always stayed with me whenever I have gone through rough patches or writers blocks. Thank you so much once again, Sunita. Your comments here mean a lot to me. ❤️
