One of the joys of travelling to unfamiliar places and seeing new things is to understand how people live in the different parts of the world and to appreciate them for who they are and why they do what they do. It wisens us up to “see” what we don’t otherwise notice. As Proust says,
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in seeing with new eyes.
Would you agree?
Sharing today, a capture of an unusual tree that I encountered in Singapore. I do not know the name but thought it has a unique shape and would, I assume, make a great subject for a sketch, (which I hope to do someday!).
#ThursdayTreeLove is a photo feature on Parul’s blog which is hosted on the 2nd and the 4th Thursday of each month. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to her post. Let’s come together to appreciate the beauty of nature all around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely tree posts from the previous week, here.
