View from the Ground #TreeLove

A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed… It feels an impulsion… this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond horizons.

Richard Bach’s words ring true for me today, as I share this picture from my summer travels. What do you think of these words? Or the picture?

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on Parul’s blog which is hosted on the 2nd and the 4th Thursday of each month. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to her post. Let’s come together to appreciate the beauty of nature all around us.

Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely tree posts from this week here.

    1. Thanks, Parul, and so glad you liked the picture. The camera is such a magical thing don’t you think? So much joy comes simply from playing around with this amazing device!! And, yes, as I always repeat myself on this, happy and honoured to join you on this. I was just wondering if I should do a similar thing for SkywatchFriday on my blog every week. Do you think we’d have enough people participating? Just tell me what you think of the whole idea, and be blunt if you must. I won’t feel bad about it.

      1. Great idea Esha! You can sure start but isn’t one already there? Like will you do it to get another of the same type or you want to innovate? What do you think?

      2. I know what you mean, Parul. In fact, I think I know I’ll wait and perhaps come up with something unique rather than do the same thing as SF does as themselves ment. Thank you so much for clarifying my doubts. It always helps to speak with someone. Have a great day, Parul.

    1. Thank you, Alana. I know what you mean. Often we are caught up enjoying the moment as it is, without bothering to consciously try out new angles. It happens to me too, but nowadays, I try to remind myself to alter the way I take my shots. At times, it works. 🙂

  1. lovely shot, Esha! somehow looking up and taking a shot bring alive a different perspective! I too have posted a similar pictures this week but it only has foliage and not tree trunk!

    1. Thanks, Arvind! I was actually sitting on a bench and looking at the sky, close to the rose garden in Ooty. This was a result of experimenting with the angles. Sometimes, though not always, such trials yield good results. 😀

      1. No no, this was actually one of the tea gardens near Ooty, on the way to Coonoor! Rose garden is a separate one, away from the botanical one . Yes, like the idea of trying out new frames and shots.
