When she got back from school that afternoon, Anjali was very surprised to see a little boy sitting alone, hunched up in one a corner of the kitchen floor.

Her mom had mentioned that he had come with Meena Akka, so Anjali thought, he must be the son Akka often spoke about.

As she finished her evening snacks and got down to doing her homework, her eyes were invariably following the little boy, who kept watching her while she lay her pencil box on the table.

All of a sudden, she thought of a plan—

What if...”

Smiling, Anjali took out her box of colour pencils and a drawing book and walked up to him.

    1. It was the beginning of a little artist in the making…a boy who had plenty of imagination but poor resources until he got that drawing book which got him hooked into it. Of course, the story just begins from here, as you can tell…:D
